We are having a lot of fun out here in Vegas. I have lots I want Abi to see and do here, unfortunately we have been covered over with looking at house after house after house. I've seen about 50 in all and have bid on 10 total and I am getting pretty tired of it all, but I've got 3 out there right now that I am feeling pretty good about. We'll see what happens....

She loves her Mrs. Potato Head! She spends more time with poor Mrs. Head's body parts in her own mouth (and Mommy and Daddy's mouth, and wearing the hats too!) than stuck into Mrs. Potato Head, but she still has a blast with it!

We have a pool in our complex and we go swimming several times a week. She's a fish, I swear!

She loves wearing her "gwasses" and always wants to put them on when mommy and daddy have theirs on.

We were going to look at (more!) houses this morning and she saw me getting ready, so she came into the living room and said "go mommy" and headed for the door with her purse and her box of books. She was ready to go!!! She didn't take them house hunting, but she did take when she and daddy went to check the mail. I think she looks a lot like me in this picture!

This one is just too cute not to put in! I bought her this stool to help with her non-existant potty training, but she found a better use for it! It's her table! She eats breakfast at it each morning, and one day I even caught her laying out a blanket for a tablecloth! This is her "cheeeeese!" face that I occasionally can get her to make for a photo...if I am really fast. I think she looks like her daddy in this picture!

Soooo much has been going on lately! I know everyone checks up on this to see what the baby has been up to, but in case you are wondering what Nic and I have been up to as well...Here's an update!!!!

We got to spend a few days in Mt.Ida before our vacation and the big move to Vegas. It's the first time Nic and I have gotten to hang out on the lake in Mt. Ida with all Nic's old friends in a while, so we were both super excited! This is one of my favorite pictures of us EVER!

Then, as most of you know, especially if you've read some of my BVI blog posts, Nic and I got to spend 12 days in the British Virgin Islands with Nic's family and some of their friends. Nic and I, Nic's brother Jeff and his fiancee Angela, Nic's mom and Dad, their traveling buddies David and Melinda, and their 12 year old son, Cody, spend 10 days (well, Jeff and Angela only stayed 7 days :) on a catamaran that Nic's dad and his friend chartered and sailed for us all. IT WAS THE BEST VACATION EVER!! (and Nic's mom thought it would be too "rough" for me and I wouldn't like it. HA!) We went to tons of tiny islands and lots of famous beach restaurants. There was great snorkeling, although I'm not a big snorkeler and only did it once. Then I got a coral burn and promptly decided not to snorkel anymore! I discovered my favorite place on earth...Jost Van Dyke...a tiny island without much to do, but is absolutely heavenly and I am currently planning our winter vacation there because I can't wait to go back!

Here's Nic and I getting started on our vacation!



There was a cool "bubbly pool" that was a small cove, with all these rocks and when the waves came in the water would bubble like a hot tub. It was really cool, but not very bubbly on our trip.



This was the boat, I mean the VESSEL, where we spent our time. It was HUGE! We had 9 people at one time on there and never felt crowded. Angela and I spent lots of time laying out on the net on the front of the boat and Nic was really excited to get a chance to sail.



He found a hammock to chill in at every beach we visited!



Foxy's is a super famous beach restaurant on Jost Van Dyke. I saw it on the Top 10 list on the travel channel. It was really neat! Everyone has left their t-shirts, flags, and, ahem, other items hanging from the rafters. We saw lots of AR stuff there and even signed our names on a Razorback flag (which we are totally taking to fly on our boat the next time we go!)















These are the pics of my island...Jost Van Dyke. Isn't it beautiful???













This is another cool beach restaurant on Jost Van Dyke and it's just as famous as Foxy's. It is all decorated, and COVERED, in seashells, with lots of signs visitors have made hanging everywhere. It's famous because it was featured in Kenny Chesney's video "no shoes, no shirt, no problem" which is my new favorite video simply because I recognized so many places in it. "I've BEEN there!!!"






There were notes for Kenny everywhere in the bar...it was funny!







This was on a tiny island called Marina Cay. There wasn't much on it besides this resort and a shop and gas, but it was really quaint!







This photo was taken at a little restaurant on Tortola. The BVIs are famous for lobster caught on one of their small islands, Anegada, so of course I had to have an Anegada lobster dinner. They didn't just bring you a lobster tail though...as you can see they brought the WHOLE lobster! It was so yummy I ate all but 3 bites all my myself!






Nic even got to drive the boat!



This is the resort that Nic and I stayed at in Jan. of 2008 when we went to Virgin Gorda, as seen from our boat in the harbor. We went back to visit one Friday night, because they have a famous beach bbq on Fridays. We missed it on our last trip, but we made sure to catch it this time. Nic, of course, ate a small ton! of food, and then these Jumbie dancers come out and dance on stilts. It was really fun!









Nic and I even got to be Jumbie dancers!





That's all the pics we got before our camera battery died. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

Here are a few pics of Abi's goings on lately...

There are a bunch from her birthday. We were homeless in AR at the time and Nic got to come down for a few days, so we celebrated at his parents house. We had Abi's traditional birthday dinner of spaghetti and Mommy's funfetti cupcakes. Which she loved...as evidenced by the food all over her face!

The other pics are from her time here in Vegas. She's spent most of her time here hanging out with her grandparents, since they've been here the whole time she has, swimming, and seeing the sights in her new hometown. We took her to see the "fishies" at the aquarium at the BassPro shop at the Silverton Casino, and were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of a mermaid! Abi wasn't impressed though, as you can tell, by the DEATH GRIP she has on her Papaw's arm. This was taken right before she took off running for her Mama!

My favorite picture though, is the one where she is lying on the floor wearing her "horsie". She was so ready to go swimming she didn't even want to stop long enough to get her suit on! It was so funny!
